5th sketch up model.

This is a failed attempt with my laser cutting but it showed me some of the corrections that needed to me made. the center part and outer ring needed to be closer.

4th sketch up model.

This is my sketch up model which is what I want my final to look like. It has a good representation of both a spiral movement and also an apple. One problem I am having with it is that it isnt that sturdy so im thinking of maybe putting a ring round the edges.

3rd sketch up

With this sketch up i was expirementing on something a bit diferant by putting in curves and points however I did not decide to develope on this.

2nd sketch model.

In this sketch model I was experimenting with making ellipses go together by creating slots and not using any glue. it was a success and gave me a better idea on how they can work and how I can make stands with the way I put my sketch's so they stand up.

1st sketch up.

With my first sketch up model I used triangles and piled up several of them layered on top of each other with a slight angle so it created a nice spiral effect in the end and with the photography part it made some interesting shadows however I think it looks to basic and maybe too spiky.

3DS development of 1st concept idea.

I took my concept idea that I made in Photoshop and made a 3D version of it in 3DS max and this is how it turned out. I like the look of it but I think that at this stage it looks too simple.
